Gather healthy ingredients. Though anyone can make a delicious smoothie, making weight loss drinks is a bit more
precise.
You need to choose those fruits that are high in fiber, but not as high in calories. The following ingredients
are great for homemade weight loss drinks:
- Choose a protein powder, like whey protein, which also has added minerals and vitamins. Muscles, skin, bone
and other tissues require protein as a main building block.
- Yogurt and low-fat milk are great for weightloss drinks because calcium promotes weight loss. The benefit
of yogurt is that it can contain healthy cultures, which improve metabolism and digestive functioning.
- Though fruits like bananas are delicious, they are also high in calories. If you like to include a banana,
try to use only half of it. Berries are lower in natural sugar and higher in fiber, and therefore are among the
best fruit choices.
- Agave nectar is a natural sweetener, you can pick up. Agave nectar is a safe alternative to artificial
sweeteners and has a lower glycemic level than sugar.
Step 2
Add the following ingredients into your blender.
- 1/2 cup of mixed berries
- 1 scoop of protein powder
- 1 cup of ice
- 1 TBSP of agave nectar
- 1 cup of low-fat milk or ? cup of low-fat yogurt (if yogurt, add ? cup of water to reduce viscosity)
- 1/2 cup of ice
Step 3
Mix the above mentioned ingredients in your blender until all the ingredients are blended thoroughly and the
mixture is liquefied.

2. Weight Loss Drinks - Ice cold water

5. Weight Loss Drinks - Vegetable Juice
According to a study done at a university of Penn. state, drinking a glass of vegetable juice before your
meals may cause you to eat 135 less calories. If you can't make vegetable juice, then even drinking a couple
of glasses of water before meals will also make you eat much less so you lose more weight.
